The use of work study technique in the determination of physical risk factors in occupational safety-A textile mill example

In this thesis, textile dyeing finishing mill, work study is carried out and examinations of physical risk factors in occupational health and safety are carried out. The chosen physical risk factors are noise, lighting, temperature and relative humidity. Work study and physical risk factors measurements were carried out in a selected large textile dye finishing plant located in the Çukurova region. In the study, production stages in the mill and public order activities at each stage were recorded through direct observation with work study forms. Physical risk factors of all activities have been evaluated together with the work study. Work to be done to endanger occupational safety and security, to anticipate dangers, to eliminate risks or to minimize damages, to eliminate risks to be revealed.
