Abstract (EN)

Occupational health and safety has become an important issue with technological and scientific developments in business life. Determining the dangers and risks arising from the working environment or the execution of the work has a great place in the prevention of work accidents and occupational diseases. The dining hall environment is one of the working areas that should be examined within the scope of occupational health and safety. There are many physical, biological, ergonomic, chemical and psychological dangers and risks in dining hall areas. In this study, which was carried out in order to determine the problems that arise in terms of occupational health and safety in the cafeteria sector where heavy workload and fast work is carried out, and to take the necessary precautions, a risk assessment was made to determine the dangers and risks. The measures to be taken for risk assessment and occupational health and safety have been evaluated within the framework of the Occupational Health and Safety Law No. 6331. In this study, L-type matrix method was used as a risk analysis method. With the L-type matrix method, the dangers and risks in the cafeteria were determined and preventive measures were determined according to the risk levels. Within the scope of the study, recommendations were made for occupational health and safety studies.
