Abstract (EN)

Employees achieve increased skills and competence through trainings and improvement activities within enterprises, thus get ready for new assignments and positions. Enterprises maintain efficiency incidental to the strong bond between their training programs and their training and improvement goals. In this research, five trainers who are experts in their field have been interviewed; and the establishment and improvement processes of the training programs within an aviation academy where the training activities of an airline company takes place are scrutinised, verifying the contributions of trainings to the enterprise and the employees. National and international standards underlying the establishment and development processes of the trainings in the aviation academy which is taken as the sample case in this study highlight that trainings in the aviation industry take place effectively. Prior assessment of the training needs of employees proved to ensure positive results in reaching the ultimate goal of training programs, thus meets the training and improvement needs of employees. This study also ascertained that realizing the education via e-learning trainings generates productivity both for the enterprise and the employee.
