Abstract (EN)
Isparta is one of the important apple production centers of our country. One of the key pests in apple orchards produced in our province is the European red mite. In the control against red mites in apple orchards, farmers priority is chemical control usually. While the extremly use of pestisits causes the development of resistance in pests, it also has a negative effect on beneficial insect species. In this study, the resistance susceptibility levels of bifenazate and acequinocyl, which are licensed for the control of P.ulmi and whose susceptibility levels are unknown, in European cochineal spider (Panonychus ulmi Koch.) were determined in populations collected from apple orchards in Isparta province. The resistance rates of Bifenazate application in Yalvaç, Gelendost 1, Gelendost 2, Gelendost 3, Marem, Tepeli, Balkırı and Çünür populations compared to the sensitive population, respectively; 0.45, 1.34, 1.67, 2.24, 1.30, 1.46, 0.97, 0.84. In apple orchard populations of P. ulmi, which showed similar resistance rates, significant resistance wasn't found against the active substance bifenazate. The resistance rates of the populations of acequinocyl application collected from Yalvaç, Gelendost 1, Gelendost 2, Gelendost 3, Marem, Tepeli, Balkırı and Çünür, compare to the sensitive population, are respectively; It was determined as 1.72, 0.47, 1.44, 0.87, 1.14, 1.18, 1.03, 0.80 and the lowest resistance rate was determined in the population collected from Gelendost 1, and the highest resistance rate was determined in the population collected from Yalvaç.
