Abstract (EN)

This study was carried out to determine the phenological, agronomic and quality characteristics of some black seed genotypes in Isparta ecological conditions in 2016-2017. 10 different black seed genotypes were used, 9 of which were Nigella sativa and N. damascena. The experiment was conducted according to randomized block design. Study; agronomic characteristics such as plant height (cm), number of branches (number / plant), number of capsules (number / plant), thousand grain weight (g), seed yield (kg / da), biological yield (kg / da) and oil content and fatty acid composition (%). When we examined the two-year averages of black seed genotypes in the study, plant height 34.5-54.0 cm, number of branches 3.5-6.2 pcs / plant, number of capsules 4.8-7.1 pcs / plant, 1000 seed weight 1.7-3.1 g, biological yield 235.3-341.1 kg / da, seed yield was varied in the ranges of 36.0-109.9 kg / da. In the study, the highest seed yields were obtained from India (109 kg / da) genotype according to the average of two years, followed by the Syrian and Hatay genotypes. The highest fatty acids found in black seed were found to be linoleic, oleic and palmitic(%42.3-%55.8, %20.1-%26.5, %11.4-%14.7) fatty acids, respectively. The highest linoleic acid content was obtained from Çameli variety (%55.8). As a result of the study, it was determined that early genotypes originating from Hatay, Syria and India in dry conditions in the region give high yield and can be recommended to producers in the region.
