Abstract (EN)

As a result of the DP won the elections held on 14 May 1950, the CHP transferred the power to the DP. In the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, which was composed of representatives elected by the people from all over Anatolia, Kastamonu was also represented by ten deputies. DP won 9 Kastamonu deputyship and CHP won one Kastamonu deputyship. In 9th period of Turkish Grand National Assembly, served between 1950-1954, Kastamonu deputies were Galip Deniz, Ahmet Keskin, Sait Kanterel, Rıfat Taşkın, Fahri Keçecioğlu, Şükrü Kerimzade, Hayri Tosunoğlu, Hamdi Türe, Muzaffar Ali Mühto. However, Tahsin Coşkan's election record was denied in 43rd session dated 14.02.1951 in Turkish Grand National Assembly. In midterm elections held on 16 September 1951, in Kastamonu Ziya Termen (DP) won the election race with Tahsin Coşkan (CHP). Turkish Grand National Assembly made efforts to ensure the development of an underdeveloped society. 1n these struggles, Kastamonu deputies helped for these sacrifice and efforts put forward by the deputies from several regions of the country. Kastamonu representatives took part in the 9th period of Turkish Grand National Assembly, put forward their opinions by giving speeches on various issues and giving proposals and notice of motions. In addition to this, they helped for the development of Kastamonu in the field of transport, health, social and economic areas.
