The relationships among quality improvement, employee satisfaction and employee performance: A research in higher education institutions in Libyan

Quality improvement is considered to be one of the key factors that influence organizational success in higher education institutions of today. There is a growing interest in the additional study of determining the role of quality improvement especially improving the process, organizational commitment and evaluation of performance standards. There is little empirical research linking quality improvement, particularly process improvement, organizational commitment and evaluation of performance standards, and employee performance and job satisfaction. This thesis focuses on improving the process of evaluating organizational commitment and performance standards, emphasizing the role of quality improvement as a factor that can promote employee excellent performance and thus affect organizational performance. This study was carried out using a sample of those working in higher education institutions in Libya; It aims to examine the links between quality improvement, employee satisfaction and employee performance. The results show that quality improvement can increase employee satisfaction and performance by improving the process. As a result of the study, it has been revealed that quality improvement and evaluation of employee performance are related to job satisfaction in higher education institutions. The study also found a positive relationship between both job satisfaction and employee performance.
