Abstract (EN)
It is known that muscle hypertrophy occurs as a result of resistance training performed by using at least 65-70% of a maximum repetition (1 MT). In weight training methods, when 20-50% of 1 maximal repetition (1 M.T.) is exercised, its effect on muscle strength development is very low. However, some studies have observed that there is an increase in muscle hypertrophy when working with blood flow restriction at 20-50% of 1 M.T., and it provides significant increases in muscle strength in a short period of two weeks. Blood flow restriction (KAK) training provides muscle hypertrophy by stimulating muscle activation and increasing cellular fluid. For this reason, the aim of our research is to determine what we do in the hamstring and quadriceps muscle groups of the taekwondo athletes in line with the method we have created by adding low intensity (50% of 1MT) and related multiple repetitions with blood flow restrictionIt is to investigate that it can develop explosive force. 20 male athletes who actively continue taekwondo participated in the study.9 of the athletes included the experimental group (average age 16.89 years, average height 1.761 m, body weight 66.00 kg) we subjected to KAK training, 11 people from the control group (average age17.20 years, their average height was 1.768 m, their average body weight was 64.60 kg).Volunteer participation of athletes was provided. Parental permissions were obtained. In addition to taekwondo training, the experimental group was given KAK strength training for 6 weeks (3 days a week). The control group continued their routine taekwondo training. Before and after training of experimental and control group athletes; right-left leg circumference, 1 min squat, standing long jump, flexibility, back-leg strength, square test, jump and squat jump, leg muscle strength performance at low speed at 60 ° / sec Medium velocity isokinetic measurements were taken at an angle of 120 ° / sec for endurance performance of the. A statistically significant difference was found in many measurements of the physical performance, jumping and isokinetic values of the experimental group in which we trained for KAK (p <0.05). In parallel with the results of the literature, it can be said that our study contributes to the explosive and rapid strength development of the athletes.
