The early Bronze Age pottery recovered during the surface survey from the settlements located in and around Kanlıtas Mound

Pottery examples belong to Early Bronze Age found by research team led by a scholar at Anadolu University Department of Archeology, Assoc. Prof. Ali Umut Türkcan during the excavation in Kanlıtaş Mound, Aşağı Kuzfındık Country, Eskişehir constitutes the foundation of this study. Sketches for Early Bronze Age Pottery found at Kanlıtaş Mound and surrounding settlements were made and then differences and similarites among the areas were located. Material of concern was taken into hand according to this preparation. When evaluated accordingly materials gathered in the surface examination at Kanlıtaş Mound and surrounding areas showed intense similarites with its contemporary Demircihöyük Pottery as well as materials from its'surrounding area. There were observed differences between Kanlıtaş Mound Pottery and around in this sense also. In this context, Early Bronze Age pottery gathered at Kanlıtaş Mound and surrounding settlements gives us important information as it adds up to our current knowledge about the pottery in the region.
