Abstract (EN)
The research was carried out with the measurements made in a casting factory in Malatya Province and the tests applied in the employees. The casting factory which is one of the working environments with high noise and vibration exposure have been chosen as the closed area. In this casting factory, people have been work 8 hours a day. Employees are exposed to noise and vibration 6 days a week 48 hours under heavy working conditions. According to occupational health and safety regulations, cardiovascular effects of noise and vibration exposures of employees were investigated in this thesis. In this study, sound and vibration measurements were made in different parts of the casting factory. The numerical results of these measurements were transferred to the computer environment for analysis. Besides, an inclusive questionnaire was applied to all employees. In addition to these, in order to see the cardiovascular effects of noise and vibration, the combined ECG and blood pressure holster were fitted for 24 hours to the 5 most affected workers. ECG and blood pressure recordings were taken during working and resting periods. Then, echoes of 5 volunteer employees have been examined by the cardiologist doctor. Along with the previous records, eco results have been evaluated and reported. Exposure levels were determined by examining the measurement results obtained in the factory, data obtained from the questionnaires, holter data and cardiologist evaluation results and taking into account the occupational health and safety regulations. Finally, exposure prevention and corrective measures were identified.
