Abstract (EN)
Kazakhstan became an independent country not long ago. Nevertheless, its current level of development deserves attention. Looking at the available literature helps to show that Kazakhstan had to deal with serious economic, political and social difficulties when the country became independent. Despite of various barriers, which appeared one after another on the way to better well-being of the country, president Nazarbayev always emphasizes how much Kazakhstan had already achieved. From the research became clear that the national security strategy of the country is directed to regular improvements of the majority of national security dimensions and creates new opportunities for future long-term development.
