Abstract (EN)
Marriage is one of the turning points in human life. For this reason, it is important for human beings whether it is realized by divine providence or free will. Whether marriage is destiny or not also has an important place in terms of giving meaning to one's life. The belief that marriage occurs as a result of divine providence is common in society. In this research, the process of the emergence of belief in fate and how it takes place in the scriptures, how fate is a factor in choosing a spouse and marriage, and the situations that occur due to and outside of the will of the person in the choice of marriage and spouse are examined one by one. Allah is all-knowing and all-powerful. However, the fact that Allah knows every particle of Allah's creation does not prevent humans from being tested in the life of this world, performing their actions freely, and being held to account for this. Marriage takes place in an order that is shaped in accordance with Allah's knowledge, will and creation. In this respect, it is, of course, under divine providence in terms of being suitable for an order. However, it seems right to think that there is a compelling destiny in marriage.
