Visions of the prophet in the Bible

In the history of religions, the visions of people who have experienced the sacred have an important place. This sacred moment of experience, which can be said to be as old as the history of humanity, has preserved its importance until today. People sometimes thought that the gods did not speak directly, but gave messages to people with symbols and extraordinary visions. The 'reapers' in ancient Greece, the soothsayer class who served in the ziggurats in the Sumerian civilization, and the ecstatic cams and shamans in Central Asia, often used symbols and symbols to talk to the god or gods when they experienced the sacred. Many prophets or men of god in the Bible have experienced these moments and told people and kings about the extraordinary things that the 'Lord' showed him. Visions (vision, vision, observation) are moments of sacred experience when people's consciousness is open, in other words, when they are not in a dream. People and prophets witnessed visions quite often and brought good news or warnings to their nations through these visions. Visions often occur with symbols and metaphors that are extraordinary in nature. Even the prophets who experienced these visions many times were not always able to clearly understand the meanings of the visions. In this study, we tried to determine the place of these visions in the history of religions and to find out what meanings visions had in people's lives.
