Abstract (EN)
This study was carried out 12 years old Hayward kiwi cultivar in Bartın during the vegetation period in 2019. The effects of plant growth regulators (50 ppm CPPU, 20 ppm GA3, 196 ppm OA, 25 ppm IBA, and 50 ppm Perlan) on fruit quality was investigated in the study. At the and of the study it was determined that all treatments increased fruit weight and size significantly as compared to the control (P≤0.05). Perlan, CPPU and GA3 treatments sinificantly increased fruit thickness. In the study, it was determined that the hardest fruits were obtained from IBA treatment with 8,93 N followed by OA treatment with 8,73 N. The lowest fruit firmness value was obtained from CPPU treatment with 7,37 N. It was determined that GA3, CPPU and perlan treatments positively affected green color in kiwi. After the applications, there were no statistically significant differences in the contents of the SÇKM, but it was determined that IBA and GA3 applications increased the pH value and this increase was statistically significant. In the research, decreases occurred in total phenolic and total flavonoid values. It was found that there were increases in Perlan, IBA and OA values when compared with the control application in TEA values. As a result, it was determined that all treatments increased fruit size in Hayward kiwi cultivar, the hardest fruits were obtained in IBA treatments and the green color, which is important for kiwi, gave the best result in GA3 treatment.
