Abstract (EN)
In this thesis, the inhibition effect of some phenolic compounds on pakreatic choletreol esterase enzyme activity was tested in vitro and in silico. The inhibition of the enzyme is important for its pharmacological applications as it will stop cholesterol intake from the diet. IC50 values obtained from in vitro results are in the range of 10-46 µM. To determine the enzyme-ligand interactions at the molecular level, the Dokle study was done using the Molegro Virtual Docker MVD 2019.7.0 program. Hydrogen bonds and steric interactions were observed to be effective in Ligand-protein binding. When in vitro and in silico studies are evaluated, scutellarin is the most effective molecule on the enzyme.
