Abstract (EN)
In our study titled "Ottoman Period Wall Tiles in Konya Karatay Madrasah Tile Works Museum", 59 works out of 150 ceramic tiles and panels produced in Iznik and Kütahya between the 16th and 20th centuries and transferred to the museum by purchasing are discussed. . With this study, it is intended to examine all aspects of the mentioned works and to reveal their development processes. These works are; When considered in detail in terms of material, construction technique, decoration technique, form, color, motif and composition, it reflects the stylistic features of the Kütahya tiles of the period in which they were produced.
