Abstract (EN)
Evaluation of patients undergoing coronary angiography in terms of risk factors for obstructive sleep apnea syndrome (OSAS) with inexpensive methods and then referral to polysomnography, which is considered the gold standard for the diagnosis of OSAS, will be important in the effective management of cardiovascular diseases in preventing complications that may develop due to cardiovascular diseases. The evaluation of patients and individuals in the community in terms of risk factors for many diseases requires a multidisciplinary approach. In order to prevent problems that may develop due to OSAS, nurses, who are members of the health care team, should understand the complications related to OSAS and contribute to the evaluation of patients with OSAS. Therefore, this study was planned to determine the risk factors for obstructive sleep apnea syndrome (OSAS) in patients who underwent coronary angiography and to examine the factors affecting it.
