Abstract (EN)

This research was carried out during the vegetation period of 2017 in the Kuruca Village, which has an average elevation of 1810 meters, located at the Kaş District of Antalya. In the study, while some of the features of pasture such as plant species, plant-covered area, botanical composition, above-ground biomass, below-ground biomass and pasture status were discussed, some features were examined in terms of soil characteristics. The textures of the soils within the boundaries of the research area were found to be clayey loam. The average bulk densidy of the soils was 1.18 g/cm3, the pH was 7.40, the light alkaline, the salinity was 0.22 dS/m, the salted soil, the organic matter amount was 7.72% and a lime content was 1.40%. In addition, the amount of Ca 6589.00 ppm is very high, the amount of 603.34 ppm is very high and Mg is 689.90 ppm with the intermediate level. The vegetation structure of the study area was investigated and 74 genus and 88 plant taxa belonging to 26 families were determined. The families with the highest taxon were identified as Fabaceae with 12 taxa, Brassicaceae with 10 taxa, and Asteraceae with 8 taxa. The pland covered area was determined as 28.4%. In addition, 47.39% of the botanical composition of the pasture area is made up Poaceae 20.99% is Fabaceae and 31.62% is other families. The amount of ground biomass was found to be 216.4 kg/da and the amount of ground biomass was found to be 307.2 kg/da. The pasture status was determined to be good. As a result of the research, it was determined that overgrazing was done in the field. Erosion indications were observed. In this case, taking measures to prevent erosion, taking preventive measures and planning and grazing will be possible to bring the pasture to the desired level.
