Abstract (EN)
Today, the product life cycle is shortening while the competition and product diversity among enterprises increase gradually. In these complex conditions, businesses that want to gain competitive advantage or protect their current location have to adapt to constantly changing product and market conditions. Logistics businesses are also affected by this situation because they are in the service sector that delivers these products to customers. Especially in recent years, as a result of the increase in internet-based commerce and customer demands, this situation has turned into a more complex structure for logistics enterprises. Logistics enterprises can benefit from complex structures in the most beneficial way thanks to their performance. In order to compete, they must measure their logistics performance and try to improve them continuously. Businesses that want to improve their performance should be open to innovations. These innovations should be done not only with product innovations but also organizationally. Making improvements in the processes of logistics activities, in the behavior of employees and employers, take place in target markets and in company strategies will be of great benefit to logistics businesses in this regard. In this thesis, the relationship between organizational innovation and logistics performance was examined, and how changes in organizational innovation predicted the logistics performance of businesses was investigated. Since the relationship between these variables and the direction of this relationship has been little studied in the literature, this study may be one of the leading studies. Within the scope of the study, logistics enterprises in Turkey and operating international logistics were evaluated. In the study, when the data obtained from middle and senior managers were analyzed, it was found that there was a significant and positive relationship between organizational innovation and logistics performance. In the next stage, an analysis has been made on how organizational innovation predicts logistics performance in a meaningful way. As a result of the analysis, it was determined that the increase in organizational innovation predicts logistics performance partially positively and significantly. This result can be regarded as important both because the subject is a pioneering issue and that the enterprises take measures to increase their logistics performance by taking this result as a guide.
