Religious and mystical content in Mahir Abdullah's Diwan

Mahir Abdullah lived in the 17th century, from Bosnia, served as a judge in various places, served Gaziantep greatly and is a Mawlawi poet who is buried there. This thesis aims to analyze Mahir Abdullah's Divan in terms of religion and Sufism. The first goal of our study is to introduce a poet who is almost forgotten and a statesman who lived in Gaziantep and made great services to this city. In addition, to analyze the religious and mystic content of the poet's divan. His life, poetry, religious-Sufistic and social life perspective and how these concepts are reflected in his poems are systematically discussed.
