Evaluation of Malatya-Pütürge local housing architecture in terms of plan-facade and material

With this study, the traditional houses of Pütürge which have original architectural features reflecting the historical, cultural and economic structure of the period they have been made were examined. Traditional houses in the district were examined and plan features, facade features and material properties were revealed. This study was carried out in order to reveal the historical and cultural value of the dwellings in the region that are in danger of extinction, to transfer them to future generations and to draw attention to the need to protect them. This study consists of 5 parts. In the first part, the importance of the subject, the purpose and scope of the discussion are explained. In the second part is about the abstracts of the examined sources. In the third part, general information about the study area is given and analysis of the settlement texture is made. In the fourth part, the building presentation charts and survey works of the selected houses are presented and the plans, facades, materials and technical characteristics of the houses are explained separately. Finally, in the fifth part, there is discussion and conclusions.
