Abstract (EN)
Max Scheler is arguably the most important moral philosopher among early phenomenologists. In this study, we first show fundamental qualities of Scheler's phenomenology through comparisons with Husserl's phenomenology and his relation to Kant's philosophy. Subsequently we examine Scheler's theory of value as a means of forming an objective ground for his ethics. Lastly, we explain his position on intersubjectivity and experience of the social realm. Thus, we aim to demonstrate how Scheler faces the claim of subjectivity in ethics and the problem of solipsism.
