The administrative capabilities of the technical school administrators

The school administrators make various mistakes in their administrative business sincethey do not get enough information about their job before they are appointed. This situation isvery damaging to the education system in the country. As all authorities admit, theadministration is a different science. The administrators who do not know enough aboutadministration processes and institutions are in a wrong and dark path. This study investigatesthe administration capability of the administrators in the technical schools.In this research, we try to find out the level of administration capabilities in theadministration process of the administrators.We first make a literature review. Then, we prepare a draft poll in the light of the ideasof experts, experienced teachers, administrators, researchers. After the draft was reviewed bysome experts, the latest version is given to 248 teachers.In the first part of the poll, there four question related with the personal characteristicsof the teachers. In the second part there are 35 questions which are trying to measure thecapabilities of the administrators in the technical schools. These questions are composed of 7parts each of which are 5 questions designed according to administration processes.The statistical data of the polls are examined in the SPSS program. We find evidenceof the administrative capabilities of the administrators. The comments about the results aregiven in the discussion part. We show that the administrators are not good at administrativebusinesses. And the administrative capabilities according to administration processes of theadministrators are developed.
