Abstract (EN)
Among all the parables of prophets in Quran, the most mentioned one is parable of Moses. When the parables of prophets in Rumi's Mathnawi are reviewed, the same situation is also seen. According to Mathnawi, parable of Moses is one of the main topics with it's arguments which are the bases of Sufistic thought and implementation. So analyzing Moses in Mathnawi is important to reveal Rumi's understanding of Sufism. With this study that reveals Rumi's explanations about parable of Moses, our aim is firstly to determine Rumi's original consideration about parables of prophets, and then to enlighten Sufis' perspective about parables of prophets and Sufistic comments they made.
