Abstract (EN)

The resolution of disputes arising between the parties in international trade is resolved through international arbitration centers, rathar than state jurisdiction. However, economic and commercial developments have started to be applied in the dispute resolution procedure, as a method where disputes have a shorter trial and less cost compared to normal arbitration. Expedited arbitration rules, which are regulated within the rules of international arbitration centers or separately, shorten the procedural proceedings of the arbitral proceedings and limit the time required for the final arbitral decision, thereby reducing the total duration of the proceedings and thereby saving arbitration costs. International arbitration centers can make their own regulations while establishing the rules of expedited procedure. In this study, accelerated arbitration procedure details are processed in the light of general expedited proceedings rules. The regulations of the international arbitration centers regarding the accelerated arbitration procedure have been examined by comparison. Expedited rules of ICC (International Chamber of Commerce) Arbitration Center, WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organization Arbitration Center), Swiss Chambers' Arbitration Institution, SCC (Stockholm Chamber of Commerce Arbitration Center), ISTAC (Istanbul Arbitration Center), and ITOTAM (Istanbul Chamber of Commerce Arbitration and Mediation Center) are examined an explained in this study. Therefore, in this thesis, accelerated arbitration procedure was tried to be explained.
