Analysis of lawsuits filed in the national education directorate according to some variables

In this study, it was aimed to handle the case files in the Burdur Provincial Directorate of National Education with the document review method and to interpret the data according to the titles determined in this direction. During the research process, 424 case files suitable for examination were included in the study based on 31.12.2019 as the deadline by following the steps of the document analysis method in accordance with predetermined criteria. For the analiysis of the data, first of all, the documents in the institution were accessed, were examined one by one to make sure they were original, waited for a while fort he documents to be understood and internalized, the data were divided into meaningful groups according to the subject headings in order to analyze the data, and attention was paid to use obtained data within the confidentliality. The obtained data were collected under 14 subject headings, and information about the lawsuit and plaintiff; years, gender, cost to administration, judicial branch, subject, union, types of opening, education level, branch types, seniority of educators, results, trial periods, the position of the administration and the parts of the case were examined and interpreted. The data obtained as a result of the study were examined in detail in the general information and content part of the thesis. According to this, it has been observed that the most cases were opened in 2019; men file more lawsuits than women; the proceeds to the administration are more than the lump sum; most cases were filed in the administrative jurisdiction branch; that the debt cases came to the fore as the subject of the lawsuit; Educators registered with the Türk Eğitim-Sen union filed more lawsuits; the lawsuits are mostly brought through attorney; The vast majority of the lawsuits are brought by secondary education teachers; classroom teachers on a branch basis and teachers with a seniority of 11-15 years came to the fore; cases generally result in rejection; the cases are mostly over in the first year, the administration is mostly involved in the cases as the defendant and the parties to the cases are generally the teachers. Considering that one of hte ways to look for justice and rights for people is to file a lawsuit, it can be btought that lawsuits are guiding in solving problems. In this study, both law and education branches were evaluated together and the problem was handled in a broad perspective. Wiht the method of document analysis, it was intended to contribute to the field by making a detailed analysis of the case files opened so far and the imterpretation of these data. In this study, it is aimed to evaluate the legal issues faced by education staff who address a large part of the society in the triangle of teachers, students and parents and what ways can be followed to solve this, the interpretation of the case results by education politicians and administrators, and to make a contribution to correct the issues that they consider themselves incomplete, to contribute to the social peace by examining the education staff legally based on the principal of happy individual happy society.
