An interview form with 28 questions was prepared for individuals over the age of 65 and their opinions and thoughts were received. The data were analyzed descriptively by creating main themes in line with the research findings. By using the decoding method, common patterns and inferences were obtained in the analysis of the data. The data obtained emphasizes the relationship between generations of individuals aged 65 and over with the impact of modernization in rural and urban societies. Among the findings of the study are that elderly individuals do not receive as much respect and love as before, and this situation differs in rural and urban areas. These findings are presented in line with the information and opinions of individuals over the age of 65 obtained from their experiences so far.
