Abstract (EN)
Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is a chronic, inflammatory disease of the central nervous system characterized by demyelination and axonal loss. It is characterized by focal demyelinating plaques in which the white matter is retained in the foreground and the cortex and deep gray matter nuclei are also affected. Clinical symptoms are generally: spasticity, fatigue, muscle strength loss, tremor, pain, sensory disorders, bladder bowel problems, cognitive disorders, depression and sleep disorders. Patients exhibit poor exercise tolerance during exercise, particularly fatigue, dyspnea and other clinical symptoms. The decrease in exercise tolerance is a factor that limits the daily life activities of patients, and with the progression of the disease, the performance in daily life activities decreases and causes adverse effects on the quality of life. However, it is not possible to explain only the signs and symptoms specific to the disease and the lack of physical capacity. Even in patients with low disability levels, physical activity avoidance behavior is noteworthy. Kinezyophobia, which has a specific fear of avoidance behavior, is defined as olan excessive, irrational and physical fear of activity and activity caused by the feeling of fragility against painful injury or re-injury Sp. It is thought that it may cause physical activity limitation in kinesiophobia in parallel with fatigue in individuals with MS. However, there are no studies on the use of Tampa kinesiophobia-fatigue scale in MS patients in other disease groups as well as any scale that has proven to be reliable and valid in the assessment of kinesiophobia for MS patients. The aim of our study was to demonstrate the reliability and validity of the TSK-F scale in MS patients.
