Abstract (EN)

OBJECTİVE: The purposes of this study, it is assessment that the sexual dysfunction, fatigue and depression of women with MS effected on quality of life. METHOD: The study included 30 women with MS and 60 healthy persons applying with simple complaints without chronic disease. For women with MS; EDSS scale, socio-demographic form, Arizona Sexual Life scale, Beck Depression scale, Multiple Sclerosis International Quality of Life Scale (MuSiQoL) and Short Form 36 Life quality scale were filled. For the control group; socio demographic form, Arizona Sexual Life Scale (ASLS), Fatigue Violence Scale (FVS), Beck Depression Scale (BDS) and Short Form 36 Quality of Life Scale were filled. RESULTS: İn both groups, the ages of the patients were min=24, max=40 and in average 34. The case group 96,70% of and 16% 70 of the control group were found to have sexual dysfunction. The case group 90.00% of and 6.70% of the control group were found to be tired. In our study, the BDS total score of women with MS was 16,00 ± 7,96 and of the control group was 2,10 ± 2,62. According to the total score of MuSiQoL the score for women with MS was 55,47 ± 5,33 (min=43,52, max=66,57). The quality of life of the case group was found to be lower than the control group, according to the SF-36 quality of life. CONCLUSION: Women with MS, who has sexual dysfunction and depression did not affect it was found to partially affect the quality of life.
