Analysis of the approach of the west to the Middle East in the context of objectivity and İslamophobia

In this thesis, the West's approach to the Middle East is discussed in the context of objectivity and Islamophobia. Firstly, the concepts of "objectivity" and "Islamophobia" have been examined and their foundations have been questioned theoretically. Using these two concepts, an analysis perspective was formed and the West's approach to the Middle East was examined through concrete events. Accordingly, it has been observed that the principle of objectivity is difficult to apply in social sciences and that the West is biased in its approach to the Middle East. Islamophobia is problematicized and a phenomenon that is used politically in Europe. It involves hostility rather than fear. It has been seen that the West can ignore the universal values that it advocates for its interests, and many events have been cited as examples.
