Bibliography of Nevşehir history (History, culture and civilization)

Numerous studies have been carried out about Nevşehir, which has been an important settlement center and which has hosted various civilizations throughout the historical ages. Care has been taken to present these studies on the history of both the city center and the districts connected to the city center as a whole. During the research process, in order to provide the municipalities, libraries and some studies in the districts of Kayseri, Niğde, Nevşehir and Nevşehir, the authors were visited and the works were personally identified. The authors of the study were contacted via social media, e-mail and telephone in order to give the complete information about the works. In addition, the working area has been expanded by providing access to various databases on the internet. A comprehensive bibliography of encyclopedia articles, papers, books, articles, theses, travelogues and travel notes published in the field of Nevşehir history has been identified and presented. In addition to domestic works, foreign works have been tried to be given to the extent that they can be reached. By examining the bibliographies of the studies obtained, care was taken to ensure that a study with high content validity is possible. In order to better understand the resulting data, the sources have been classified according to the relevant branches of science. Studies classified under these branches of science are categorized as books, book chapters, articles, papers and theses. In addition, a separate section has been opened for encyclopedia articles, book introductions, annuals, travelogues and travel notes. Together with this bibliography study, the size of the works related to the history of Nevsehir, which turned from a small village location into a district and then into a provincial center, has been revealed.
