Theme and structure in Nezihe Araz's theaters

Nezihe Araz, whose main profession is journalism, has written many kinds of works. She has many works in biography, review, poetry, script, theater genres. The theaters she has written are important in Araz's works.At this point there is no research examining all the theater works of the artist.In this research, her theater works other than her children's plays were examined. In our work, the theme and structure features of the theaters of Nezihe Araz were revealed. Since she is a journalist, she can look at events and situations from a broad perspective, reflecting every aspect of her life in a realistic way from the life of the village to the life of those who are outstanding. Despite being left-wing, he entered the dergah after college. She learned sufism from Kenan Rifai. The artist influenced by Sufism reflected the elements of this teaching in his works. Besides this, the injustices that women are exposed to, the rights and freedoms of women are the subjects she has examined in many of her theaters.Briefly, the main subjects in her theaters are sufism and femininity. "Theme and Structure in Nezihe Araz's Theaters" was started by giving information about the theater of the Republican Period in the introduction section of my thesis. Our work consists of two parts. In the first part, the life, art and works of Nezihe Araz were taken up. The theme and structure of the theater of the artist, which is the main point of our work, is covered in the second part. A review of the structure and theme characteristics of the artist's games is included in the conclusion.
