Abstract (EN)
In this study, investigating the levels of married teachers? marital adjustment terms of psychological well-being and some of variables is proposed.The study is put into practice wiht 343 married teachers in elementary and secondary schools in the province of Mersin. The data on individuals? marriage satisfaction ?Marital Adjustment Scale? (Locke ve Wallace, 1959) and the data on levels of psychological well-being ?Scales of Psychological Well Being? (Ryff, 1989) and their personal informations are collected within ? a personal information form? created bt the reseacher. In the Analysis of the data, Mann- Whitney U test one-way ANOVA and multiple regression analysis are used.According to the findings of the research, in spite of the fact that there is not any meaningful difference between their martial satisfactions in recpect of married teachers age or gender, as to individuals form of marriage, child number, child care and their seniorities it is studied out that there is a meaninful difference between their martial adjustment.Furthermore , according to the results of the applied analysis of multiple regression it is found that psychological well being points of teachers? especially sub-dimensions of autonomy, self acceptence and personal development are the significantly predictors of the martial adjustment.Keywords: Martial adjustment, psychological well being
