Opinions of teachers and administrators on the selection and appointment of vice-principals by school principals

This study aims to evaluate opinions of teachers and administrators on the selection and appointment of vice-principals by school principles.In this study which was conducted in the form of survey research, firstly, a literature review was made and a questionnaire used as a data collection instrument was prepared. After these stages were completed, it was proceeded to the implementation stage. The questionnaire was conducted to 365 teachers and administrators who work in Küçükçekmece district of Istanbul. The first part of the questionnaire consists of an information form including 7 personal questions. There is a scale for evaluating opinions of teachers and administrator on the selection and appointment of vice-principals by school principals in the second part of the questionnaire, there is also a third part allocated for the participants to express their additional opinions. After the data was collected, necessary analyzes were carried out and the opinions of teachers and administrators on the selection and appointment of vice-principals by school principals were analyzed in detail in the data analysis process.
