Emotional education through moral education in pre-school period

The main theme that our thesis examines is emotional education through moral education, which should be given in accordance with the developmental characteristics of the child in the pre-school period. It is of great importance for our research how children's emotions affect their moral development in the pre-school period. We have limited our study to 4-6 years of age, since emotional and moral education shows its effect in every period of individuals' lives. The general question of the research is the ways in which emotion education should be given through moral education in the pre-school period and what kind of impact environmental factors will/should have in this process. Qualitative research method has been used in our thesis and the current situation and the situation that is deemed necessary are discussed. In addition, it has been explained that besides the child's different developmental characteristics according to age, each child develops a special personality structure within himself and in this context, moral education should be given. At the same time, the necessity of supporting abstract concepts and events with concrete materials in this period and what these materials could be have been tried to be determined. In the pre-school period, the effective factors in the child's display of emotion-related moral principles have been tried to be explained with examples. It has been mentioned what kind of attitudes parents and teachers should display in the face of the attitudes and behaviors of the child in question, and what kind of effects the effective elements in the guidance process can create on moral attitudes and behaviors by keeping a measured love bond alive in the child.
