Abstract (EN)

In this research, it is aimed to find out the relationship between innovative climate in schools and teacher's autonomy. The sample of the research, which was designed in the correlation survey model, includes 606 teachers working in the official kindergartens, primary schools, secondary schools and high schools in the city center of Kütahya. In this study, "Innovative Climate in Schools Scale" and "Teacher Autonomy Scale" were used. The data were analysed by descriptive statistics, t test, ANOVA and Pearson correlation coefficient. Based on the findings of the research, innovative climate in schools was a moderate level in teachers' views. The views of high school teachers and secondary school teachers about the innovative climate in schools differ significantly. Teachers' views on autonomy behaviors are at a high level. Views of high school teachers and primary and secondary school teachers on autonomy behavior differ significantly. There is a positive and significant relationship between teachers' views on the innovation climate in their schools and autonomy behaviors.
