Abstract (EN)
Islam is the last of the monotheistic religions. Since all monotheistic religions derive their origin from Allah, it is natural to find many similarities between Islamic law and previous sharia. However, there are some provisions that were found in previous shariahs but not in Islam. This thesis aims to deal with the reflections of previous sharia on Islamic law by considering both similarities and differences. In this thesis, the concept of sharia was examined in detail and its definition and fiqh analysis were made. Then, detailed information about the previous sharia was given. Although Judaism and Christianity are understood in terms of previous sharia, it is clear that this concept is broader than both, and this issue has been explained in the thesis. In addition, it was questioned whether the previous shari'ahs could be accepted as evidence in terms of Islamic law and the words of the fuqaha were tried to be expressed according to the attitude of the Prophet Muhammad before and after the prophethood. On the other hand, the abrogated and non-abrogated provisions of the previous sharia were investigated and its reflections on Islamic law were revealed.
