Leader Farmer Consulting Association model analysis

Önder Çiftçi Danışmanlık Derneği Model (Pioneer Farmer Consulting Association Model) enables farmers to establish associations that work on resolving various problems of firms that operate in agriculture industury. These associations depend on donations and monthly fee contributions made by member agricultural organizations for income. These associations that operate with help yourself principal had a major contribution increasing the effectiveness in production in Thrace region. Various training programs were held about chemical fertilizer usage and importance of soil analysis. Farmers and member organizations were also trained for not using excessive additives and pesticides. Agricultural mechanization also increased the productivity in the region. Just like sunflower and wheat, canola farming became more common in the region. By the prevention of excessive pesticide usage via training programs farmers became more catious about sustainable farming in the region. Corn and clover irrigation also developed in the region in recent years due to watering expertise provided by the experts.
