Abstract (EN)

Organizations of organized crime, which have a long-standing association with criminal activity, continue to function as systemic organizations that disturb the established social order. Self-organized crime organizations can be characterized as groups that follow a hierarchical structure, are formed with the explicit intention of perpetrating criminal activities, possess a substantial membership, and sustain their operations over time. Obtaining substantial profits rapidly through illegal activities such as drug trafficking, human smuggling, arms smuggling, looting, prostitution, and bid rigging is the primary objective of these structures. The profits they amass through various criminal endeavors are commonly referred to as "black money." The financial gains acquired through illegal activity by lucrative criminal organizations can have far-reaching consequences that impact an entire nation's economy. This situation can give rise to significant challenges for both domestic and international economic markets. Destructive criminal organizations that operate with substantial illegal funds, commonly referred to as "black money," disrupt the political, economic, social, and cultural frameworks of nations, effectively instigating a multitude of adverse consequences. Nevertheless, numerous financial dynamics of nations are impacted by black money, including tax revenues, development rates, and income distribution. The structure and illegal revenue streams of profitable criminal organizations are clarified in this study. The definition of black money and methods of money laundering are provided. The section concludes with a discussion of the impact that black money, defined as the illegal profits generated by criminal organizations for their own financial gain, has on the nation's economic indicators. The primary objective of the research is to demonstrate the process by which black money acquired through illegal operations of criminal organizations with the intention of financing interest payments is laundered and subsequently integrated into the domestic economy. Furthermore, it seeks to underscore the economic significance of combating black money by highlighting the detrimental effects that money laundering inflicts on national economies. Key terms: Black money, money laundering, organized crime organizations for profit, and the effects of money laundering on the economy
