Abstract (EN)

To continue its existence slowly but surely for a company is not only on the shoulders of the managers. All employees have the same responsibility of the efficiency, profit and success of the company. In order to internalize these responsibilities, however, it is important for the managers to be attentive to employees. And in line with many researches done so far, the organizational commitment is thought to be one of the important requirements for this condition. It will not be so easy to have productivity and to add value to the company for ones who don't feel committed or who work there because of some necessities. Even if it is a state economic enterprise, the commitment is low for the ones especially who have begun to work currently. Thus, the organizational commitment should be strengthen by some ways like giving awards, motivating, empowering, creating a positive environment. In this study, it is aimed to identify the factors that affect the organizational commitment of the Eskisehir Sugar Factory Employees' and to identify the relationship between the normative, affective, continuance commitments and demographic features. The questionnaire is conducted on 177 workmen as a blue-collar and white collar in total. Factor, Kmeans, correlation, regression, multidimensional correspondence analyses and descriptive statistics are applied. As a result, it is represented that the age, gender, marital status, educational status and working years have effects on the organizational commitment to make it low or high.
