A meta analysis study on effect of gender and marital status on organizational trust

This research was conducted to determine the effect of gender and marital status on organizational trust. This study was prepared to determine the effect of gender and marital status on organizational trust. The study was conducted with meta-analysis method. 54 studies on gender and organizational trust were included in the study. A sample of 27456 people was reached in the study. 17 studies on marital status and organizational trust were included in the study. A sample of 9230 people was reached. In the meta-analysis of gender and organizational trust, moderators such as publication type, educational level and region were included. As a result of the study, it was found that there was no significant result in terms of gender variable. In terms of moderator variables, when the type of publication was examined, a result was found in favor of male participants in the article group. When the level of education is examined, it is seen that there is a result in favor of male participants in primary, university and mixed groups. Regarding the regions, it was seen that there was a result in favor of male participants in the Mediterranean, Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia groups. When the results of the meta-analysis of marital status and organizational trust in the study were examined, a result in favor of married participants was found. In terms of moderator variables, it was seen that the result of the publication type was in favor of married participants in the thesis group.
