Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to examine some of the variables in terms of decision-making strategies for secondary school students.The population of the investigation, Trabzon connected to the Directorate of Education and Sports High School instructor in different status, Vocational Schools, Imam Hatip High School, High School and students studying in the High School of Science, the sample of the 473 received in the research constitute upper secondary students. Students by researchers to determine relationships between decision-making strategies developed by demographics next 16 to solicit personal information, Mann et al. (1998) developed by (Melbourne Decision Making Questionary) Sea (2004), adapted to the decision by the Turkish 28-item scale was used Vermeer. Percent and frequency distribution of the data obtained from the scales were, for some demographic differences between the decision-making strategies t test and variance analysis made statistical significance of P <0.05 significance level was set. In SPSS 18.0 statistical software was used to evaluate the data. In the study; decision on self-esteem and decision-making gender of the students in terms of style, age, attend school events status, type of school, central residential spent most of their lives, family income, maternal and paternal education levels among variables; It was found to be significant statistically differences (p <0.05). As a result, self-esteem, decision-making levels in male students, female students in decision-making has been found to be higher than the level of self-esteem. According to students who attend school students to participate in school sports competitions competitions avoidant self-esteem and decision-making levels was observed to be higher. In deciding the students with behavior be autonomous according to their self-esteem and decision-making strategies and their self-confidence, to say clearly their thoughts, to finalize its own volition what he did or did not want to make the decision concluded that the findings are important in terms of being independently while giving others.
