Inportance of Enderun Mektebi Palace school in rising era of Ottoman Empire

States, undoubtedly, examine the accumulations of past times while forming their education systems. Likewise, while forming the curriculums of our education system we must keep in mind that there were similar practises in the history of our education.Noticing the individual differences, Ottoman State grew up the recruited boys from their early ages nearby Turkish families so as to instill our cultural values and then among those the intelligent ones were raised in proper ways of the school in the palace thoroughly in accordance with the fundamentals of the capability so that they could become faithful individuals for the Ottoman society.The foundations of the Palace School were laid during the reign of Murat I and it reached its principal identity during the reign of Fatih Sultan Mehmet. ?The Position and Significance of the Palace School in the Ascecnsion Period of Ottoman State? is the title of our thesis that is because Palace School became systematized during the Ascension Period of the Ottoman State. We chose that subject and prepared our thesis based upon the articles taken from the books and journals written about that period. In the thesis we examined the function of the Palace School and thus we tried to express the function of the Palace School during the Ascension Period of the Ottoman State.Palace School, during the Ascension Period of the Ottoman State, raised extremely faithful statesmen along with the education and discipline system they applied. Doing this helped both central and pronvincal organizations become stronger and thanks to recruited boys, Ottoman State recieved the love of Balkan people.
