Abstract (EN)
Sufism emerged and developed by centering the belief of tawhid in Islam. The efforts to interpret the belief of tawhid within the science of Sufism entered a new period with Ibn al-Arabi (d. 638/1240) after the 7th century. The understanding of tawhid in this period and the thoughts of Ibn al-Arabi were expressed with the concept of "wahdat al-wujûd". The idea of wahdat al-wujûd, which was discussed among scholars and Sufis in the period after Ibn 'Arabi, the question of how it was presented to the public, maintains its vitality even after centuries. Thus, in this study, it was tried to reveal how the idea of unity of being was transmitted to the Ottoman society. The authors besides being sufis, were preferred because the works they wrote were read in Ottoman society for centuries. After giving information about the lives and works of the selected authors, the main concepts of the idea of unity of being were discussed through the related works. Finally, it was tried to determine their approaches to secondary concepts that developed around the aforementioned thought. For this purpose, qualitative research method, one of the social science research methods, was used. In our study, Ibnu'l-Arabi's system of unity of being and its basic concepts were analyzed the knowledge, original criticisms, comments and contributions of the authors regarding the idea of unity of being were determined.
