"Investigatıon of the Benefits of the Employee Empowerment to the Operation and An Application" Master Thesis, Trabzon, 2017.The purpose of this study is to demonstrate the differences in the benefits of the employee empowerment in terms of demographic characteristics. In this context, the research focuses on the employee empowerment of architecture offices that located in the Ortahisar district of Trabzon. The sample of the thesis study is, in fact, 146 people working in architecture offices. In the survey studies applied to the employees; statistic analysis was performed with the help of SPSS program and Frequency Analysis, Mann-Whitney U Test and Kruskal Wallis-H Variance Analysis were performed and significant results were sought. The findings obtained and the benefits that the employee Empowerment to operate have been evaluated as an example application for the employees in the architecture offices.The thesis study consists of four main sections. In the first section entitled 'The Empowerment Concept', the definition, the importance and historical development of the employee empowerment, the basic concepts of employee empowerment, and the basic elements of employee Empowerment are mentioned. In the second section entitled 'The Employee Empowerment Process, Negative Sides and Benefits to Operation', literature reviews about the employee Empowerment process and its application, the negative sides of employee empowerment, and the benefits provided by the employee Empowerment are given. In the third section 'The Method and Application' section, the topic and the purpose of the research, the scope and limits of the research, hypotheses of the research, the research method, the analysis and interpretation of the data, the findings and interpretation studies are explained in detail. Finally 'The Results' section, results which are produced from the thesis are included.Key Words: Employee Empowerment, Empowerment, Benefit.
