Abstract (EN)
Plyometric exercises are a kind of exercise which is commonly used to improve performance at several branches of sports. It is known that plyometric exercises improve sportive performance. The aim of this study is to determine the ground reaction forces during 3 different plyometric jumping exercises and compare them with athletic performance score. The method of this research is expermential resarch, fifteen male athletes aged 18 and older who are active in athletics branch in İzmir and Aydın are analyzed. At this study, the ground reaction power of different jump exercise; standing long jump, vertical jump and depth jump is investigated and these revealed results are compared with evoluation of these athletes best performance scores of previous competitions according to World Athletics Federation Perfomance Pointing Table. During measurements was used type of load cell and biopac data analysis for ground reaction forces. İt is seen that there is a significant differences between the power values of vertical jump and athletic performance score, power values of depth jump and athletic performance score, power values of standing long jump and athletic performance score (p< 0,05). The relationship between power values during plyometric exercises and athletic performance of athletes is explained in this study and reveals that plyometric exercises are a parameter that should be followed by coaches. Keywords; force, jump, performance, plyometric
