Portait art and applications with ceramic materials

Portrait is one the important subjecst in art. From the beginning of the art history to present, potraits have been used for various purposes. Descriptions that started with cave paintings in prehistoric times cotinued to be used as portraits of wealthy families and then portaits of common people. Use of potrait, descriptions of portrait and self-portrait, examles of works and artist are included in the first part of the thesis project. In the second part, the implementation stages of the desings that i made as the results of my research is featured. In the third part, Turkish and foreing artists who produced portrait works in ceramic art take place. And these artists' ceramic art portraits were analyzed. In the final section, personal applications as the result of research are placed.
