Professor Dr. Suat Yildirim commentary studies

Professor Dr. Suat Yıldırım has made very important studies in the field of Qur?an and Qur?anic sciences. He had prepared his doctoral dissertation about how the Prophet Mohammed interpreted Qur?an as the most authoritative interpreter of Qur?an. He has published so many important books such as; Qur?an and Introduction to the Qur?anic Sciences, Godhead (Deity) in Qur?an, interpretation of the sections of Qur?an which are Fatiha and En?am that he had published for his dissertation of Associate Professorship. Qur'an al-Hakîm and its interpretation that he had prepared differ in several ways from the others. This interpretation was appreciated by a lot of readers. Mr. Yıldırım having almost two hundred scientific researches, majority of which are about interpretation of Qur?an and some articles, also has translations from French and Arabic into Turkish. As well as his deep knowledge in Islamic Sciences, author is also very competent on Western Culture and Belief. By writing a book narrating Orientalists? researches on Islam, he attracted attention on their activities and put forward some of their wrong dissertations. In another study about Western, he deals with analysis of Christianity in the light of other available resources. Author who had retired from Marmara University Faculty of Theology cause of age limit still continues his studies.
