Thesis title smart curriculum model suggestion as a curriculum development tool and health management education practice example

Abs The quality of health management education is an important unreliable factor presented by the health of the country's health economy. For this purpose, the content of health management education and the reflections of the educational outcomes in the field are met and the curriculum development model is increased. Content analysis and focused group details were included as a method in the study. The curricula, syllabi, resource books of all health management departments accepting students in 2022 were compiled from the web pages of the universities. It was conducted in two different sessions with all parties of health management education as a focused group and all the details of health management education were discussed. The areas of duty in hospitals were determined and a semantic management model was created and which courses were required for which task steps. In the study, the diversity of course curricula between faculties was at a remarkable level, the differences in the syllabi were revealed and the fact that the education was not on a standard basis was revealed. The common point in the focus group interviews was determined as the updating of the educational curricula and the scope of the weight. The originality of the study is that no such general study has been found on health management education. It was aimed to draw attention to the harmony of the educational outcomes with the task units in the hospital and the areas that need to be updated. The research was limited to health management departments accepting students in 2022 in Turkey and the cylinders in hospitals in the health management task areas were taken into account. With the suggestions applied in health management education, which was considered from every perspective, the results of contributing to health expenditures in health management departments were obtained. It is envisaged that the update to be made in health management education will make a positive contribution to social health, health management, management, health economy and hospital management.
