Abstract (EN)
Identifying and understanding off-field neutron doses is an important issue in accelerator-based radiotherapy because linear accelerators operating at high energies (> 6 MV) generate secondary radiations that irradiate parts of the patient's anatomy distant to the target area, potentially causing harmful health effects. The aim of the study can be listed as follows; - Lung vs Prostate application (Air vs Soft Tissue), -For IMRT (Intensity adjusted radiotherapy) vs VMAT (Volumetric arc therapy), -For three energies with headlights (6 MV-10 MV-15 MV), - Inside the field vs Outside the field (For critical organ and normal tissue), To examine the equivalent dose contributions of thermal photoneutrons.
